All parks are open from 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. No alcohol or smoking is allowed at any park or facility within the park. Please be courteous to other visitors at all times and clean up after yourself. If you wish to reserve a field or shelter, you can do so at City Hall.
Dutton Sports Complex opened to the public in 2011 with the support of West Liberty residents, the Wilma Dutton Trust Fund, the Carver Trust and the Ryan Trust. It offers spacious open areas, softball/baseball fields, a covered playground area, soccer fields, tennis courts,pickleball, sand volleyball pits, and a skate park. There is bleacher seating and restroom facilities on the grounds. Field preference is given to organized recreational leagues and those with reservations.
Friendship Park features a slide and swing set, and shaded park benches and picnic tables.
Kimberly Park is home to the public pool. The park also features a playground, open areas and four reservable shelters, one of which is enclosed. The land for Kimberly Park was donated in 1923 by the Kimberly Family to be used as a recreational area.
Railroad Park is located next to the Depot. The park features a swing set and slide as well as a wooden train playground.
Ron-De-Voo Park is located downtown West Liberty and is home to Music In the Park during late summer and the Farmer’s Market during fall.
Sesquicentennial Park was created in 1983 as a part of the celebration of West Liberty's 150th year. It is located across from City Hall.
Veteran's Memorial Park was established in 2011 to honor our Veterans. It is located along Highway 6.
Wapsie Park features a 9-hole disc golf course, three softball fields, a batting cage, a soccer field, a swing set, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and a mile-long wooded trail. There is also a reservable shelter. Field preference is given to organized recreational leagues and those with reservations.
